Spring, summer, and fall run together with temperatures much the same. Highs run into the mid 80’s and the evening lows are cooled by trades taking them into the pleasant lower 70’s.
Micro-climates abound all over the island, creating lush tropical rainforests to dry deserts, and steep green valleys to rolling plains. Cool trade winds glide across the island from the windward side (East and North sides) where the island receives most of its rainfall, whereas the South and West sides (where the condo is located) enjoy drier conditions, trade winds, swaying palms and more sunshine.
This ideal tropical paradise is a perfect home to 250 varieties of tropical plants, some 219 found nowhere else in the world, but on Molokai. Hence, it is not surprising that Molokai’s Island Color is “Green.”
While in paradise you will find that because of the fantastic climate you won’t need much more than a bathing suit, a sun dress or a pair of shorts, and a pair of sandals…..called slippas, “Island Style.” Come to unwind in the perfect combination of sun, surf, and sand, and don’t forget the suntan lotion!!!
