the way, stop by and see the local wood carver. His sign welcomes

handmade bowls and carvings made from indigenous

Milo,
Monkey Pod, and
Norfolk Pine.
- Also, stop and see the Sandalwood Pit;
used to measure how much
Sandalwood would fit into the hull of a cargo ship for transport, years ago.

½ mile wide and 3-4 miles deep, you can hike
to two towering waterfalls; Hipuapua Falls or
Moa’ula Falls, and swim in a 150 ft natural
bubbling pool. A local guide is suggested.
